Friday, May 2, 2025 - Welcome to Argentina!
Welcome to Buenos Aires, the nation's vibrant capital city! Your private guide will welcome you at Ezeiza International Airport and transfer you to the hotel, Casa Sur Palermo Hotel. Along the way, the guide will give you information about the city and some useful tips. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax, refresh, and get ready for your first evening in Argentina: a wine tasting at Casa Coupage. This house is a unique space where you will learn about the breadth of Argentine wine with a sommelier as your guide. The activity will take place in a charming dining room of a late 19th-century house. The sommelier of the house will guide the experience and provide background information regarding the specific terroir, variety of grapes, and winemaker. You will taste 7 different labels selected from excellent Argentinean wines.
Saturday, May 3, 2025 - Explore Buenos Aires
In the morning, you will enjoy a private tour of the city. Some of the places you will visit include:
Plaza de Mayo: home to the national government palace,
San Telmo: a charming area with antique markets, candle street lighting, cobbled roads, and historic buildings
La Boca: a neighborhood famous for its brightly painted houses
Puerto Madero: which is situated on the riverside along the Río de la Plata
Palermo: the largest neighborhood, hosts huge parks and some of Buenos Aires' trendiest bars
Recoleta: home to an array of fashionable restaurants, cafés, boutiques, malls, and luxury hotels, which reside along tree-lined avenues. One of the main attractions, The Cemetery, is the final resting place for generations of well-known Argentinians, including Evita Peron.
You’ll then have the afternoon free to stroll through the city, do some shopping, visit museums, and explore historical cafes. Feel free to ask your guide for suggestions and additional information!
Sunday, May 4, 2025 - Welcome To Mendoza
You’ll be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the airport to take your flight to Mendoza. Upon arrival in Mendoza, you’ll be greeted at the airport and taken to your hotel Entre Cielos Wine Hotel and Spa. Mendoza is a very famous wine region in Argentina. A particularly famous specialty is the tasty red Malbec that the surrounding valleys are known for producing. More than 1,200 bodegas (wine cellars) welcome you!
In the evening, you’ll enjoy a gastronomic experience rather than just a simple dinner. A different way to enjoy the renowned wines of one of the most traditional wineries of Argentina: Trapiche. Located in a glass-fronted restaurant with views of the vineyards at the entrance to the prestigious winery, Espacio Trapiche features an open-view kitchen visible from the entrance hall where part of the door is covered with glass, giving you a view of the underground wine cellar below. Chef Lucas Bustos will delight you with his contemporary cuisine that highlights ingredients sourced from the nearby mountains, including potatoes, lamb, trout, and vegetables from his garden. And, of course, the dishes are perfectly complemented by Trapiche wines!
Monday, May 5, 2025 - Uco Valley Wine Experience
The mountains and the beautiful landscapes of the Uco Valley prepare your senses to experience the characteristic flavors and aromas of these high-altitude wines. We will take the path of Los Cerrillos through the vineyards of Luján de Cuyo to reach the Uco Valley, getting closer and closer to the Mountain landscapes. There are two wineries where you will enjoy a guided tour and visit, to continue on to a third winery where you will have a 3-course lunch with wine-paring. (Please advise on any diet restrictions or special requirements at the time of booking.)
Tuesday, May 6, 2025 - Cooking Class
Indulge in a truly enchanting experience at Zuccardi Winery, Casa del Visitante! Zuccardi Winery, a prestigious family-owned estate, is renowned for its commitment to crafting exceptional wines that reflect the essence of Mendoza's terroir. The winery boasts a rich history and tradition that dates back generations, infusing each bottle with a story that's as delightful as the wines themselves. At Casa del Visitante, you will immerse yourself in a world of culinary delight! The talented chefs will guide you through an exclusive cooking class, where you'll learn the art of using locally sourced ingredients to create exquisite traditional dishes. You'll discover the secrets behind the region's most cherished recipes, ensuring you can recreate these flavors in your own kitchen back at home. After the cooking class, savor the fruits of your labor during a mouthwatering lunch at Casa del Visitante, perfectly paired with Zuccardi's best wines.
Wednesday, May 7, 2025 - Leisure Day at Entre Cielos Wine Hotel & Spa
Take time to relax and enjoy the pool, spa, and scenery. Spa treatments and optional activities can be arranged upon request (not included in the rate).
Thursday, May 8, 2025 - Return to Buenos Aires
You’ll be picked up by the driver for a private transfer to Mendoza airport to take the flight back to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you’ll be greeted by the driver and transferred to the hotel, Hotel Madero. This will be your last evening, and an opportunity to say goodbye to Argentina with a special wine tasting and tango dinner.
San Telmo, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, is the ideal setting to immerse yourself in the authenticity of tango. Enjoy an evening of exquisite Argentinean wines, local cuisine, and tango performances at La Ventana Tango Theatre. First, you’ll indulge in a wine tasting of different Argentinian wines, guided by an expert sommelier.
Then sit down for a traditional dinner a la carte: a wide variety of appetizers, main dishes, an exclusive charcoal grill, homemade pasta, and bakery, plus a variety of desserts. To top off the evening you’ll enjoy a show of two traditional tango orchestras, two tango singers, five dancing couples, music from the Altiplano, and a Folcloric ballet with a show of "boleadoras". 32 performers on stage!
