  • TravelBash is a modern travel advisory that specializes in luxury destination weddings and group destination celebrations. For us, travel is a way of life and we love working with people who see it the same way. Our clients don’t come to us because they need a vacation booked, they choose TravelBash because they know we’re the best choice for celebrating big, at a caliber and level of customization they can’t find anywhere else.

  • Preferably at least 1 year, or a minimum of 6 months during the off-season. Please reach out to us to learn more about availability.

  • At TravelBash, our clients are not just a number to us. We like to get to know our clients intimately. That is why we work with just 11 couples each year. Just so you know, that’s one wedding per month from January through November. Our team takes off the entire month of December to regroup, spend time with family, and start the new year fresh. This exclusivity allows us to offer unrivaled service, but it also means you should contact us as early as possible to ensure your date is on the books.

  • It honestly depends on the time of year and what our guests are looking for. Remember it’s not about us and what we like. We are truly here for YOU! If you are still deciding on a destination, we would be happy to make some recommendations based on your vision, budget, and the number of guests you’re planning to have. We've been everywhere and seen it all so we might be able to give you some choices you hadn't even considered (that will end up being perfect).

  • The short answer is yes (with a caveat). We have an amazing network of villa partners around the world with exclusive access to private listings. That said, we do not work with rental websites such as VRBO or Airbnb. While Airbnb may seem convenient for groups, it is not accredited, which could leave you open to the risk that the place may not be as advertised, or without support if anything were to go wrong. We only use accredited local brokers who visit and maintain their villas to ensure quality control.

  • We are so glad you asked, TravelBash specializes in luxury travel and works mostly with four and five-star hotels and resorts as well as equivalent boutique properties, and villas. Our hotel partners we work with begin at $500-$1000 per room, per night. We also only book international destinations. That means we will not book any domestic travel within the United States except for Hawaii. We also do not work with Disney or any cruise lines.

  • We work with various hotels and resorts but partners include: Belmond, Hyatt Prive, IHG, Four Seasons, and Rosewood, among many others. A few all-inclusive brands we love are La Casa de la Playa, Impressions, Secrets, Xcaret Group, Atelier and Grand Velas.

  • The typical budget for couples varies based on the time of year, destination, number of guests, etc. With that said, most of our couples have at least a wedding budget of $25k.

  • Our custom group trip budgets also vary based on the time of year, destination, number of guests, accommodations etc. As mentioned above, TravelBash specializes in luxury travel and works with four and fice star hotels meaning we recommend a starting budget of $500 per person per day for us to curate an amazing itinerary for your next celebration.

  • The majority of our weddings have anywhere from 40-85 guests – but we’ve seen it all – from couples who had just 10 rooms (our minimum), to couples with 100 rooms! No two weddings are the same, and TravelBash can handle any size you want.

  • We handle all the details of travel for our couples and their guests. Why worry about managing all that when you can leave it to us?

  • As stated above, we require all weddings and groups to reserve a minimum of 10 rooms, with all guests staying at least 3 nights. This will also vary based on the accommodations chosen.

  • TravelBash is a modern travel advisory specializing in luxury destination weddings and group trips. With that said, we charge one flat fee for our services. Our rate starts at $5,000. Before any services are rendered including the creation of an itinerary, we take an upfront planning fee payment along with a signed contract.

  • We can’t speak for others but we take pride in what we do and value our knowledge and expertise. When you book online or with a traditional travel agent, their commission is already built into the price (or the fees and taxes that are tacked on). We transparently charge our fee separately, because our service is performed for you – we aren’t beholden to whichever vendor gives us the best rate.

  • No. Our fee provides you with best-in-class service and high-touch care. This means we help our clients avoid costly mistakes and get the experience they’re looking for. We know which questions to ask, and will make sure you never pay for something you don’t need. Plus, our connections and status in the industry often leads to upgrades and exclusives our clients enjoy at no additional cost. Our clients always come out on top, getting way more than they expected for the value we provide.

  • We will be your expert partner advocating on your behalf, offering transparency, and providing access to exclusives you can’t find anywhere else. Our goal is to make the entire process easy and personalized for you – from the time you choose TravelBash until after you’ve returned home.

  • Our founder and CEO Courtnie is still very much a part of our process, but as we’ve grown, she’s shifted out of some of the day-to-day. Each couple will be assigned a Client Lead and Reservations Specialist to handle the ins and outs of planning their destination celebration. We still believe that nothing replaces the human connection so even though we use technology to communicate and organize all the details including our sales and onboarding process, we believe people plan the best celebrations not robots.

  • TravelBash always responds to clients within 48 business hours, although our regular reservations team does not work weekends. However, when it comes time to take your trip, your group will be given a dedicated in-travel support coordinator who will be available to you 24/7. We also will provide you with contact information for our in-destination travel partners who are able to assist 7 days a week.

  • Since 2017! Plus, three-quarters of our team have had their very own destination wedding, so we know what it’s like to be in our clients’ shoes.

  • ​Our founder is a proud graduate of the Travel Leaders of Tomorrow program, one of the premier travel schools in the U.S. She’s also a member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), and the Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA). Our team also has a variety of certifications.

  • We will always work to get you the best rate and if you find something better online, there’s probably a catch. Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) like Expedia, Priceline, or Book-It make money reselling inventory at a reduced price. In other words, there’s a reason the resorts aren't able to sell on their own.

    In order to know if you’re really getting a better deal you’ll have to do the following:

    • Check dates

    • Find out if transfers are included (transportation to and from the resort)

    • Do the resort credits match?

    • Same room type?

    • Insurance added?

    • Cancellation terms?

    • Read the fine print

    The biggest thing to look for is the “no refund or trip cancellation protection.” Without that important clause you could lose out on thousands of dollars if you have to cancel for any reason. We don’t match rates you find online because they are advertising something different than what we’re advising for you. Ultimately, you can do all this or you can trust we’ll get you the best rate for the experience you want.

  • Unfortunately, no. However, TravelBash offers our clients even better perks through our own preferred partner programs with hundreds of hotels and villas around the world. We also have relationships with hotel owners, general managers, and their staff that result in added amenities, upgrades, and space clearing when it often appears impossible.

  • ​Unlike online OTAs where full payment is required at the time of booking, we can offer some flexibility. If you’re interested in payment options, please bring it up on our call. On some occasions, we take payments as long as the balance is paid in full 65 days before you leave.

  • Sure you can. Anyone can go online and book their hotel and flight – but why would you? The kind of travel you’re looking for is about way more than booking. Not only will booking yourself waste precious time, you won’t have access to everything we can see. Worse yet, you could miss important details you don’t even know to look for and run into potential issues that were totally unavoidable. The bottom line is this is just too important to DIY yourself.
